Welcome to our website. We are both native New Yorkers that have been transplanted in Baltimore. I think the only thing we miss about New York is our friends and family still living there.
We have had Honey Bees off an on for the past 30 years. It has always been a struggle. Hives either died from the cold winters, mites, diseases, etc… This spring I bought 2 packages of Russian honey bees. We had 1 hive of Italian bees that survived. Of the 3 hives 1 of the Russians is going absolutely crazy. They seem to fill the supers as fast as I put them on there.
